View full detailsThe development of various printmaking techniques in the 1400s represents a watershed moment in the history of Western Art. Old Master woodcut artists and etchers such as Albrecht Dürer and Rembrandt van Rijn are today mostly remembered for these original prints. These works are still of broad appeal today, as they open our eyes to the history of Western religion, societal mores, power, faith, and all aspects of life from the late 13th century onward. While some of these works are expensive, many remain quite affordable and therefore collectible. You can discover a preview selection of these works here.
